Current post: Consultant clinical oncologist at Royal Marsden Hospital, Sutton. Chris qualified in medicine from Oxford University in 1989. He trained in oncology at the Royal Marsden Hospital. After a research fellowship at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto, he was appointed to his current post in 2001. Chris has been chief investigator of prostate cancer trials testing the use of active surveillance for localized disease, post-operative radiotherapy for locally advanced disease and of radium-223 for bone metastases. He has published over 250 articles on prostate cancer.
