Jenna Morgan is an NIHR Clinical Lecturer in Breast Surgery at the University of Sheffield and a final year higher surgical trainee in the Yorkshire and Humber Deanery. She completed her PhD in 2015, examining the variation of treatment of older breast cancer patients, working on the Bridging the Age Cap in Breast Cancer study, and has continued her interest in geriatric surgical oncology ever since. She is involved in Cochrane, having sat on one of their editorial boards and authoring five reviews. She sits on multiple national committees, including the Mammary Fold Academic and Research Collaborative (Chair), Mammary Fold (Academic Rep), iBRA-NET Localisation group (Secretary), Association of Breast Surgery Academic and Research Committee and the iBRA-NET executive committee. She is on the Steering Committees of several national breast surgery trials, including Bridging the Age Gap in Breast Cancer, SMALL, and MARECA. Her personal research interests include treatment decision making, management of older cancer patients and equality within surgery.
