Mr Gabriele Marangoni qualified from Pisa University Medical School in September 2000.
He completed his basic surgical training in Pisa University Teaching Hospital in 2006.
He moved to UK in November 2005 and gained extensive experience in gastro-oesophageal, liver and pancreatic surgery, including Liver transplantation, working at St Thomas’ Hospital and King’s College Hospital in London and St James’ Hospital in Leeds.
He was appointed as Consultant Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgeon in Coventry University Hospital in 2013.
He is currently Clinical Service Lead for HPB at UHCW and has recently been appointed as Chair of the West Midlands HPB Expert Advisory Group.
