Dr Ashling Lillis

Ashling Lillis is a consultant in Acute Medicine and Ambulatory Care at Whittington Health in North London. She studied at Cambridge University, then at St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London Hospital, completing an intercalated degree in the sociology of disease. Her areas of clinical interest include the interface with critical care, treatment escalation planning and acute cancer care. She is experienced in medical education; developing peer mentorship networks and authoring undergraduate textbooks. Ashling has been involved in medical leadership and quality improvement and was an NHS National Medical Director’s Fellow in 2016. She is now also National Consultant Advisor for Macmillan Cancer Support working in the Policy and Impact Directorate
