Dr Ho is a consultant endocrinologist at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, and a key aspect of his work is within the endocrinology and oncology interface. He completed his higher speciality training in the North West, during which he undertook a PhD at the University of Manchester studying novel cardiovascular risk markers in metabolic conditions. His research work has led to a number of awards, publications and international presentations. He was awarded the Royal College of Physicians Samuel Leonard Simpson fellowship in endocrinology during his PhD, and more recently the Society for Endocrinology Leadership and Development Awards Programme. He is also a content editor for the Society for Endocrinology You and Your Hormones website.
