Following her Clinical Oncology training in Belfast and Leeds, Rebecca completed a Clinical Research Fellowship at the University of Toronto and Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto, working with world leaders in the field of Gastrointestinal Radiation Oncology and gaining new skills in stereotactic radiotherapy which she was keen to bring back to the UK. She has been working as a Consultant Clinical Oncologist in Leeds Cancer Centre since 2016, treating upper GI and HPB cancers. She has a particular interest in the use of technical radiotherapy for pancreatic and primary liver tumours, and is lead clinician for the newly developed stereotactic liver radiotherapy service in Leeds. She is the local PI for a number of national technical radiotherapy trials and a founding member of the HPB Precision Radiotherapy Steering Group.
