Mr Peach qualified from Bristol in 1989, subsequently completing a skin cancer fellowship at the Sydney Melanoma Unit, Australia. He was appointed as a consultant Plastic Surgeon in Leeds in 2003. Since then he has been actively involved in establishing a comprehensive cancer service for the region, including a facilities for sentinel node biopsy, isolated limb infusion and electro chemotherapy for primary and secondary melanoma. He continues to develop regional and national guidelines for the management of skin cancer. He has been instrumental in developing a national skin cancer fellowship for senior trainees and has reported to NICE on issues relating to melanoma. He is currently chair of the Skin Cancer Special Interest Group for BAPRAS and is actively involved with the Melanoma Focus Charity.
